Hi 👋 

I'm George James, an independent animator based in Brighton.

Specialising in bold character design, stylised worlds, and storytelling-driven animation, I create distinctive 2D and 3D projects for clients who want work that stands out. 

I use tools like Krita, Blender, and Sony Vegas Pro to bring original concepts to life, from animation loops and custom avatars to fully-realised narrative shorts.

With experience working with content creators and independent brands, as well as undertaking personal commissions, I deliver imaginative animation with a focus on strong visual identity and memorable characters. 

Aside from animation, I have experience in sound design and music production, so if you’re requiring audio for your project I can help with this too!

I aim to bring a fresh perspective to my work, and I'm passionate about showing that my differences are actually my creative strength. 

Outside of my work, I'm a devoted animal lover (especially cats), a big fan of sci-fi movies, electronic music, and classic video games. I'm also learning Japanese, which has been an inspiration for some of my recent creative projects. When I get the opportunity, I love to ski, go climbing, or explore nature - all influences which are channelled into my work.
